Not bad... Nowhere near as "epic" as "ogre-battle.large". Fat guys and light sabers are semi-cool I suppose.
But, dude, slow down the "rollup". It?s almost unreadable.

That's the most randomly great thing I've seen all day (except Pulp Fiction - watched it a minute ago)

The two videos were downloaded 1.1 million times from my site alone, a staggering 2.3 terabytes of traffic, placing a geeky little kid at the center of the web's attention practically overnight. So who was he and what was he thinking?
My research revealed few details, until the culprits finally contacted me. His name is Ghyslain, a 15-year-old tenth grader living in Quebec. Originally recorded onto an 8mm tape on November 4, 2002 in the school's studio, the video was never meant to be seen by anyone. After Ghyslain returned the borrowed videotape to his friend, the video sat in a basement for months. On April 19, 2003, Ghyslain's friend stumbled on the tape's secret contents and immediately shared it with friends. They thought it would be a funny prank to encode the video and upload it to Kazaa.
It only took two weeks for the video to spread around the world. Raven Software's Bryan Dube added the Star Wars effects on April 24, a mere five days after it originally appeared to the Internet. A week later, both videos were linked on every major gaming- and technology-related website, forum, and chat room online.
What does Ghyslain think about all this? My French-speaking friend Jish interviewed him today to find out what he thought about his newfound popularity. Read the interview now. Overall, he seems like a **** cool kid. I don't care what anyone else thinks; Ghyslain is my new hero.
Update: In return for all the trouble he's gone through to entertain us, I think we should buy a new iPod for Ghyslain. We're up to 421 donations, totalling $4,334.44! We can buy him a 30GB iPod and much more! The fundraiser is now closed; thank you to everyone who donated.

There are more ways than singing in "Idols" to become famous.

You guys went to a lot of work with the costumes, weapons and all. I would suggest breaking up the fight into some more shots though, (some closeups of the guy firing the "lightning bolts", some closeups of the bolts hitting the tall monster, etc, etc.) There is a good tutorial video called "Fightscenes for Motion Pictures" available from www.kbproducts.com (shameless self promotion) that might give you some ideas. Also, get one of your group to learn AffterEffects abd add glowing fireballs to the "lightning bolts". Keep up the good work though.

All right, for all the guys who still think I SERIOUSLY made this movie:
*drumroll*
I didn't.
I found the link on some site, played it over 20 times and I still had to laugh at its stupidityness, and figured you guys would understand this is a joke. Obviously, some guys interpretet this as a serious attempt to create an epic battle. Come on, it's a bunch of fat kids playing silly games, with a camera slapped on!
Geez.

emjen, it is a quality piece of work. You don't have to 'diss' yourself to prove anything round here. We know you have the 'skillz'. Stop making us look stupid.
On this board, we salute QUALITY. What you have made is QUALITY.
C'mon, don't take us all for morons...

Ha, Ha Ha....you got me! I'm new to this board and, not knowing your work, thought you might be a group of fat kids playing silly games. Was I nice enough in my review? Were my suggestions constructive? Is "stupidityness" a word? If it's not, it should be.

haha you said "keep up the good work". There's nothing wrong with being honest you know .
To be honest, I thought you would've known that it was a joke. But even after redrum's post people still came and said "wow, you didnt make that? Did you?".
Maybe its my avatar...
